We had to reschedule 3-4 different times because of weather…but when we finally met up for our portrait session in Highland Park it was 75 degrees! In January! Not only did we have great weather, but this family looked like they stepped straight out of a Ralph Lauren Catalog. Beautiful weather and beautiful kids = a great session! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Caitlin just graduated college and is ready to head off to the big, wide world (yay! no more tests!). She is leaving town this week for her brand new job and of course, we had to get some wonderful images of her before she leaves home! The Bishop Arts District is one of her favorite hangout spots so it was the perfect place to do it!

Bluebonnet’s mom called me this past week – her photographer had bailed at the very last minute and she needed someone to photograph Bluebonnet’s 5th birthday party. Hmmm, let me think…lots of dogs and a party to boot? Of course I will photograph that! The party was held at the WUF Resort and Spa in Irving and lots of Blu’s friends came to help her celebrate. She is a VERY popular dog.

In 2011, I began offering pet portraits in addition to family and senior portraits. And boy am I glad I did! Here are all the wonderful dogs I photographed this year. As I look back on each session, I have fond memories of getting slobbered on, chewed on, kissed by and played with by each and every precious doggie! I went through heaps of treats, squeaky toys and tennis balls and I can’t wait to do it all over again in 2012!
